We started the event with cakes, fruits, tea and a talk from Sofie Zhang Larsen about her reflections on feminism and why feminism is still very important!
Afterwards we had 5 speedfriending rounds where we got to know each other by discussing various feminist topics, and you know it has been a successful event, when the conversations continue long after the scheduled activities😉
This was our last event of the semester, but we will start hosting events again in the fall semester. If you have any questions or want join the forum feel free to write us a dm✨

In a world where gender norms shape much of our personal and professional lives, how can boys and men transcend traditional masculine stereotypes? What are the defining moments in education, work, and relationships that reinforce or challenge these norms? Join us for an engaging talk by Andreas Beck Kronborg from DareGender, where we’ll dive into the societal expectations placed on men and boys and explore how these norms shape our understanding of masculinity.
DareGender is a Danish volunteer-based organisation that engages boys and men in promoting gender equality. Their work is focused on mental well-being, violence prevention and redefining masculinities.
This talk will be followed by an open discussion, giving you the opportunity to engage directly with Andreas and other attendees in a thought-provoking Q&A session.
Whether you’re a student, member of staff, or simply interested in gender equality, this event offers a chance to reflect on the concept of masculinity, learn from others, and envision a more inclusive future.
👥 Join the conversation and help shape a more open-minded understanding of masculinity.
📍 Details: The talk will be held in English in the Skylab auditorium at DTU Lyngby Campus. Since the event starts after 5 pm, please remember to bring your DTU student card for building access.

You are probably familiar – maybe too familiar than what’s preferable – with the concept of imposter syndrome. But how is this irrational sense constituted in STEM education environments? And what allows it to persist? These questions lead to the most important: How do we convince ourselves that we belong in STEM?
🗣 Henriette Tolstrup Holmegaard is lecturer at University of Copenhagen, Phd in science education and leader of the research group “Equity in Science Education”. She is interested in the circumstances that shape young people’s choices of education and how their interest in science develops or diminishes over years.
🍪☕Join us on the 8th of April for an enlightening talk from a true expert within her field and a following discussion in a safe space, where you can participate by the degree that you feel comfortable with!
🧑🔬 If you sometimes experience the unpleasant feeling of imposter syndrome, you will certainly have the chance to talk to someone who recognizes the struggle – this way we ensure a confirmation of the cliché of “not being alone” 😉
📍 The forum will be held in English, and it takes place in the auditorium in Skylab at DTU Lyngby Campus. Note that since the event starts after 5 pm, please bring your DTU student card, so you can access the buildings
