We’ve just returned from an incredible weekend drumming in the enchanted forest of in Wales. More memories to share soon but for now we just say thank you to all the special beings that joined us and made it so wonderful.

We need to give a huge thanks to the organizers of for hosting us as part of their convention this past week in Birmingham. We offered some mini Thrymskapr workshops, crafting new drums and exploring drumming in many ways throughout the week, and ended with an excellent dance party and gathering put on by the One day one Tribe crew.
Many thanks to each of you that were part of making this a great time and for having us as your guests.

Such a lovely drum crafting crew we got to spend the weekend with close to home here in Denmark. Thank you so much for arriving from all different places, wandering the forest, crafting and connecting with us. Quite possibly one of the most hygge workshop weekends we’ve had 😄.

Lunar Yule, Imbolc, old heathen jule, Midwinter, etc. When the earth begins to wiggle her toes from Winter’s sleep. And so some Thrymskapr begins stirring as well.. though the ground here in Denmark is still quite frozen, so we keep it small and cozy.

Set up for an intimate drum crafting ritual over the full moon weekend. If you’ve ever heard this big hanging drum booming on the Heilung stage, you can imagine how powerfully it fills the space of our little farmhouse in the Danish countryside. A power to shake the frost off the roof and carry us on a lovely journey. Like a full body massage with sound!

New drum friends were born, among merry company and lots of laughter, in time to see the awakening of spring and prepare to sing around wild summer fires. ❤️‍🔥

Teacher Spotlight: Inger!
Let’s introduce a good friend and frequent collaborator— Inger Johanne of .borg.dk.

Hailing from Norway, and brought up with an animist worldview, Inger has a lifelong fascination with ancestral knowledge and traditions. She is a certified psychotherapist, specializing in nature-based therapy and has over 25 years of experience as a teacher and ritual facilitator around the world, with a focus in Nordic Traditions. Her courses are an invitation to draw from a deep well of knowledge, with practical and approachable insight into bringing these practices to your daily life.

She is founder of Ing.Borg, a Danish-Norwegian company based on the island of Funen in Denmark. Since 2017, they have offered drum courses, Nordic sweat lodge experiences, practical animism courses, and other workshops centered around ancient Nordic traditions such as seid, runes, and Galdr.
