We hope you enjoyed our Halloween party on Friday. We for sure had an amazing time and cannot wait to see you all at our next event!

Here are some highlights of the event:

Hello everyone!

As mentioned in a previous post, the election for ESN Haderslev is coming up. If you are interested in becoming a board member, you can apply for the following positions:
- President (makes sure that our section runs smoothly, communicates with the university, takes care that board members are up to speed on their tasks, etc.)
- Vice president (shares responsibilities with the president)
- Communication manager (keeps contact with other ESN sections in Denmark, promotes events)
- Project- coordinator/ buddy-coordinator (helps to organize events and finds buddies for the incoming international and Erasmus students)
- Bike-coordinator (distributes bikes to students)
- Secretary (answers emails, makes the agenda for meetings, and takes notes of what happened during the meetings)
- Treasurer (manages the finances of our section)

Apart from these positions, you can also come up with your own role. For example, if you are good with technology, you can create your own position as an IT manager. All ideas are welcome! :)

Please note that you don´t need to have any previous experience working with ESN in order to become a board member.

Lastly, if you would like to be part of ESN, but not take on the role of a board member and all the responsibilities with it, you can always just be an active member of our section. As an active member, you can help out with organizing our events and participate in the board meetings if you want to.

We are ready to vote in a new board and add some new people who love helping other students and like to create fun events!

If interested, please send in a letter of motivation saying what possible position you would like on the board. Or if you don’t know just let us know what you think you could bring to the group, and we can then help you to find the right fit for you!

Once you have written your letter of 3-15 sentences, please send to [email protected] before the 22nd of September.

We are excited to announce that we have received a grant from ESAAeu (The Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance), which we will use for a project at the beginning of this autumn semester! 🤩

The project is called "Put a '+' in your life and your CV" and it consists of workshops for students who have returned from their exchange. The focus will be on handling reverse culture shock and taking advantage of the period spent abroad. 🌍

There will be five workshops, one in Aarhus, Odense, and Kolding, and two in the Copenhagen area. They will take place during September and October.
