Is it normal to feel physical reactions after a Bodynamic Therapy session — trembling, warmth, sweating, or a sudden shift in the body?

In this video, Ditte Marcher speaks about these physical responses and what may be happening when the body begins to react during or after therapeutic work.

Bodynamic works with the connection between body, emotions, nervous system, and psychological development. Sometimes the experience isn’t only something we understand with the mind — it can also be felt very directly in the body.

What can trembling, heat, sweating, or other bodily sensations tell us? And when are these reactions a natural part of the therapeutic process?

Listen as Ditte Marcher shares her perspective from Bodynamic Therapy.

Maybe freedom isn’t about standing alone. Maybe it’s the moment we stop searching for where we fit and begin trusting where we truly belong. 🤍

There is something powerful about choosing the people, places, and relationships that feel like home and discovering that belonging can be part of your healing journey.

What is your hope for the world now, and for the future?”

Lisbeth Marcher, founder of Bodynamic, answered with one powerful word:

Peace.

But peace is not simply the absence of conflict. It begins with something much deeper: understanding.

When we learn to understand the connection between body and mind, we begin to recognize our own defense systems — the patterns we developed to protect ourselves. And when we learn to recognize the defense systems of others, something extraordinary becomes possible.

We can disagree without becoming enemies.
We can stay curious instead of becoming defensive.
We can see the human being behind the reaction.
And we can begin to meet one another — not from fear, but from awareness, dignity, and compassion.

Perhaps peace does not begin when everyone finally agrees.

Perhaps peace begins when we can stand in our differences, understand what is happening within ourselves and each other, and still choose to meet.

That is where peace can begin: in the body, in the relationship, and ultimately, in the world. 🌍🤍

Our history lives in the body but it does not have to define the limits of who we can become.

In Bodynamic, we understand the body not only as carrying adaptations formed through our development, but also as holding resources, capacities and possibilities that can be strengthened throughout life.

Through greater awareness of the body, movement and relationship, we can begin to discover what has supported us, what we learned to protect, and what may still be waiting to develop.

“The body carries both our history and our possibilities.”
Lisbeth Marcher, Founder of Bodynamic

A boundary isn’t something you say. It’s a space you embody.

Long before words leave your mouth, your muscle tone communicates whether you feel safe, centered, and rooted in your truth.

When we lose contact with our physical center, setting a boundary feels exhausting. But when we connect to our core and ground into the floor, "no" stops being a struggle and simply becomes a baseline.

Explore the Bodynamic view of boundaries in today's slide breakdown.

A childhood encounter with fear planted a question in young Lisbeth Marcher: How can human beings move beyond fear without losing themselves?

That question became a lifelong exploration of the connection between body, mind, movement, and development—and eventually helped shape the Bodynamic System. What began in trauma grew into a method for building resources, dignity, connection, and choice. Self care for the Caretakers.
