HOW TO GET TO KNOW EVERYONE? START BY TALKING TO ONE MORE 🤩

This may be the last day of intro but that doesn’t mean you’re done getting to know one another. Classes start next week and it’s a great opportunity to talk to someone new before class. Maybe even have a coffee with some of the others afterwards. Start by saying hi and ask how come they chose your programme. One conversation can be enough to discover something you have in common or learn something completely new.

Last year, Thomas arrived at CBS and Copenhagen without knowing anyone. This year, he’s helping new students get the best possible start. You can read much more about being new at CBS on my.cbs.dk. We’re so happy to have you here with us 🫶

It’s funny how something as simple as saying hi can feel like such a big deal. Especially when we know that your fellow students would like to say hi too. They’re just waiting for you to do it first. So be the one to break the ice. Intro is the perfect place to start.

DIDN’T MAKE IT TO INTRO TODAY? NO PROBLEM, JUST SHOW UP TOMORROW! 👌

Being nervous about starting your studies can take many forms. Maybe that nervousness kept you home today. But if you come tomorrow, you’ll find out that some of the others are worried if they’ll make friends, others if they can keep up academically and some worry if their programme is the right one for them.

All are valid concerns, but the great news is that you can all find your place at CBS this week by showing up for the intro 😍

A PERFECT ENDING TO GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS 🧑‍🎓

This afternoon Lokomotivhallen set the most beautiful scene for the 2026 CBS Graduation Ceremony.

Starting with the parade of graduates, followed by speeches from Dean of Education Anne Thomasson, President Peter Mølgaard and Chief Commercial Officer at Sparrow Quantum Anne Marie Engtoft Meldgaard. Framed by musical performances by CBS International Choir and Roskilde Garden and a valedictorian speech by Miriam Tokmak encouraging everyone to ‘keep in touch’ 😍

It all was wrapped up with the turning of the tassels and tossing of the hats before everyone joined at the reception with room for sharing stories from the past five years of studies and dreams for the years to come.

Congratulations once again to each and every one of you! ❤️

Everyone is new at intro. So, if you’re feeling shy or nervous on Monday, you’re definitely not the only one. Want to move past those feelings? Say hi first. Compliment someone’s tote bag. Start a conversation. Chances are they’re hoping for the exact same connection as you, and you’ve just made it a little easier☺️

WORRIED ABOUT STARTING AT CBS? SHOW UP! 🫶

If you’re feeling nervous about starting as a bachelor at CBS, you’re perfectly normal. It’s a huge step and there are so many unknowns.

One way to ease your worries is to show up for intro week on Monday 24 August and meet your fellow students and your intro guides and coordinators. They’re all excited to meet you, just as you are excited to meet them.
