Rosa, a CBS student, thought entrepreneurship was too big a concept to just jump into. EXPLORE gave her a way in — and the confidence that she didn’t need to have it all figured out first.

For Rosa, it also meant meeting people who shared her ambition — proof that you don’t have to navigate this alone.

This could be your first encounter with innovation and the methods that help you succeed with your ideas.

Across five sessions, students from CBS, DTU, KU and Aalborg University come together to develop skills that are valuable as an entrepreneur as well as within established companies.

The skills you leave Change Challenge with are the kind you keep using long after: breaking down a problem you haven't seen before, testing an idea instead of guessing, working with people who think differently than you. Skills that are useful regardless of whether you end up in consulting, a startup, or inside an established organisation.

Applications close Sep 26. Find out more via the link in bio.

You don't necessarily walk out of our Explore programme with a business plan. You walk out knowing where in Denmark's ecosystem to take an idea if you ever have one, and with more trust in your own ability to make something happen.

That comes from five sessions across five university hubs between September 30 and November 4: a networking game at CBS, an inclusive design workshop at DTU Skylab, honest conversations with student founders at AAU CPH, a playful ideation session at KU, and a closing session at Talent Garden where you receive your certification as an Explorer.

You're paired with a group people with different educational backgrounds on purpose — it's part of how the programme gets you thinking past your own field.

Right now your business idea might be something you’ve mentioned to a few people, maybe you even tested it in a beta version. But you’ve reach the point where you’re ready to see how far that idea can take you.

That’s what’s our 13-weeks incubation is all about – helping you from a validated problem to real evidence that someone would pay for your solution and the confidence to act on that.

Until 10 September, you can sign up for the next incubation. Find all you need to know and the sign up for online, link in bio.

Duarte, a Copenhagen Business School student, already considered himself an entrepreneur when he applied for EXPLORE. He joined anyway, for the peer network and the chance to see how three other university ecosystems approach the same questions he was asking.

OpenInnovation is Copenhagen’s flagship student innovation challenge, bringing over 120 students, researchers, and sustainable innovation enthusiasts together with innovation experts and key actors in the Danish ecosystems.

This year’s challenges come straight from the organisations facing them. IKEA Denmark is stuck on how to sort and grade returned products without relying on slow manual work — you’d help figure out where AI and automation can take over. Other teams take on flooding in Freetown or turning waste into income for families in Kibera.

You don’t need a team already, and you don’t need industry experience or knowledge.

Sign up solo or with others, prioritise the challenge you want, and you’ll be matched into an interdisciplinary group with students from DTU, Københavns Universitet and Copenhagen Business School.

Sign up before 13 September. Details and full challenge list on www.open-innovation.dk – link in bio.

You don’t need an idea. You don’t need to show up with a team. In fact, you don’t even need to know if entrepreneurship is your thing.

Explore is a student innovation and entrepreneurship programme with five sessions over two months. You will participate in different workshops, hosted by each of the five collaborating universities, DTU, Aalborg University, University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen Business School, and the IT university of Copenhagen.

You’ll experience new people from different fields each time, meet real founders, and get a proper look at what university innovation hubs could do for you.

Research doesn’t have to mean working alone toward a publication. At CBS, it can also mean building something that reaches beyond the paper — a venture, a spin-out, real-world impact.

If you’re a student wondering where research could take you, this is one path worth knowing about. Swipe through, and find out more on cse.cbs.dk/researchers

Day two of TechBBQ is on, and we hope it brings as many good introductions as yesterday did. New people, new ideas, and a few conversations that leave you thinking differently on the way home.

Both yesterday and today, you can meet a selection of our startups pitching to a room that reaches well beyond campus – investors, founders, people who spend their working lives helping good ideas grow into big ones. These conversations will hopefully continue long after TechBBQ wraps for the year.
