We are looking forward to hosting the 15th Anniversary EIPTN EIPTN Conference on October 06 – 07 2023 in Denmark at Copenhagen Business School this year together with Associate Professor Vishv Priya Kohli. The theme is ‘ Sustainability and Diversity in Intellectual Property Teaching’.

The annual EU conference of EUROPEAN INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY TEACHERS NETWORK LTD (EIPTN) is supported by the EUIPO - European Union Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office. This year, we have an impressive lineup of distinguished speakers from different European Universities, as well as EUIPO, EPO and 4iP Council for Europe, which supports research for promoting the IP culture at universities.

While enjoying the summer weather, we have been celebrating Jeroen Lammers who has successfully defended his PhD thesis as well as all the CBS students who have finished their bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Congratulations to you all! Further, we want to thank Andrej Savin for his engagement as director of CBS LAW through the last five years and welcome Henrik Andersen who is taking over the reins. At CBS LAW, the month of April has been very successful for our faculty - both young and seasoned. We are proud that two of our colleagues have been appointed in different fora aiming at fighting the climate changes. Further, members of our faculty have represented CBS LAW at seminars as well as published their research in prominent journal to contribute to the contemporary discourse of their fields. Other faculty members have been featured in the media as experts within their fields of research regarding some very disturbing cases being investigated in Denmark. Next month, CBS LAW is hosting a range of academic conversations through a number of seminars from which we anticipate fruitful results.

Den 21. april kan du blive klogere på de gode norske erfaringer med brug af projektintegreret mediation (PRIME) i nogle af deres største infrastrukturprojekter og deres anvendelighed i Danmark.

- Hvordan du kan bruge on-boarding processen som konfliktforebyggende tiltag ved Mie Andersen og Jan Buur Frederiksen fra Center for Ejendomme, Region Hovedstaden

Seminaret vil slutte af med netværk med kaffe, vin, vand og snacks.

Det er helt gratis at deltage, men der er kun et begrænset antal pladser. Seminaret starter klokken 13:00 og foregår på Solbjerg Plads, Copenhagen Business School. Tilmelding sker forneden.

Professor WSR Peter Koerver Schmidt is co-applicant on the project 'The Entrepreneurial Age: Rethinking Entrepreneurship in Society', which has been awarded a generous grant from Carlsbergfondet. Congratulations to all involved parties. Further, faculty members have been prominent in the media and in presenting their research at conferences, and, while we enjoy the spring, we look into an exciting pipeline of interesting seminars.

We are thrilled to announce that the Department of Business Humanities and Law (BHL), of which CBS LAW forms part, has been awarded a substantial grant from Carlsbergfondet for a coming research project , titled 'the Entrepreneurial Age: Rethinking Entrepreneurship in Society'.

Professor Christina Lubinski (BHL), who is the main applicant and who will be leading the project, will work together with co-applicant CBS LAW Professor WSR Peter Koerver Schmidt as well as Professor Dan Wadhwani and Assistant Professor Hannah Tucker from BHL.
Together, they and their teams will combine the research fields of history, law and organization studies to explore the discourse and ideals of 'entrepreneurship' in Denmark.

As (tax) law plays a significant role in regard to entrepreneurship and, more specifically, while tax law regulation weighs heavy for the
entrepreneurial framework conditions, Peter Koerver Schmidt and the CBS LAW Tax Group aims to make a significant contribution to this interdisciplinary project.
