We are thrilled to announce our first event of the semester: An outdoor picnic in Frederiksberg Have!

Calling all international students at CBS! Join the International Student Ambassadors for the biggest and most thrilling garden party of the year, as we take over Frederiksberg Have on the 10th of September. We will be enjoying some of the last summer days. Feel free to bring your own drinks, food, snacks, blankets or games!

Get to mingle and connect with fellow CBS students, take part in our fun games of kongespil and rundbold or dance the night away with some newly made friends! Come together and celebrate the start of a new chapter in your life; the beginning of a new semester at CBS!

CBS offers plenty of opportunities to pursue your hobbies alongside other students who share your interests while you study.

At the same time, joining a society gives you the opportunity to gain experience and dive deeper into areas such as **marketing, finance, or events**. ☀️

Most societies at CBS are run almost like small businesses, with a president and different teams working together to make everything happen. It’s therefore a great opportunity to gain relevant experience, learn how to collaborate with different people, and work on something you’re truly passionate about. ❤️

Besides becoming part of a society’s team, you can also simply take part in the many events they organise. This can be anything from **runway shows** 👗 with CBS Fashion Society Official to running sessions with CBS Padel padel tournaments with CBS TENNIS 🎾, and much more!

Societies are not only a great way to **meet new people across CBS, gain experience, and have fun** – you also receive **1 Student Society Point**, which can be used in connection with exchange opportunities ✈️. We’ll be talking much more about this later!

📅 **On September 24, Student Society Day will take place from 9 AM–4 PM on campus at Solbjerg Plads!**

This is your chance to meet lots of CBS societies, who will be ready at their stands. There will be plenty of **free food and drinks** 🧁, making it a great opportunity to learn more about the different societies, ask questions, and maybe find the society that’s the perfect fit for you. 😍

Each year, the ISA hosts a Welcome Event for all incoming international students. It gives them the opportunity to get familiarized with CBS and Copenhagen! 🇩🇰

You will get essential, practical, academic and cultural information to assist you in your transition to CBS and Copenhagen. Learn about the study-related procedures and exams, get a better understanding of the Danish culture, and find out how to get involved at CBS! 🤝

Most importantly, the Welcome Event gives you the chance to meet your fellow international students prior to the semester start. Make new friends and build up your Copenhagen network! 👥

The Online Pre-arrival Seminar can help you get settled into Denmark and at CBS. You will get information and tips on registration with the authorities, housing, living in Denmark and much more! 🇩🇰

On the evening of June 23rd, we’re bringing the spirit of Santhansaften - the legendary Danish Midsummer’s Eve - to life at CBS! This cherished tradition marks the start of the warm summer months to come, and once again this year, the ISA is thrilled to be able to share this cultural experience with the international students at CBS! 🎉

You can expect bonfire, good vibes, and an unforgettable evening under the Nordic sky! We warmly invite you to join the celebration, and don’t forget to bring along all of your friends! It is going to be a night to remember, filled with unforgettable moments, fun activities and great company! 🙌

We’ll gather at the entrance to Frederiksberg Have, right by the statue of King Frederik VI (Frederiksberg Runddel 3B, 2000 Frederiksberg). Feel free to eat beforehand or bring your own food/drink to enjoy in the park — there are plenty of great take-out spots along Falkoner Allé! During this time, you will get to meet and mingle with fellow international students.

We are hosting our own quiz night at Cafe Nexus on Friday the 8th of May at 19:00!
The theme will be based on questions regarding Denmark and Danish culture! 🇩🇰

Test out your cultural skills as well as your social skills, as you mingle throughout the night with other international students at CBS! 🔥

Take a well-deserved break from your studies and join the International Student Ambassadors for a relaxed and fun evening of board games at Bastard Café in Nørrebro!

With spring slowly approaching, we’re excited to kick off the season with a social gathering where you can meet fellow students, play great games, and unwind after a long day of classes. Bastard Café is one of Copenhagen’s most popular board game cafés, offering hundreds of games, from quick party games to strategic classics, so there will be something for everyone, whether you’re a beginner or a board-game enthusiast!

The application round is open until 25/3, after which interviews with potential candidates will be conducted to find new volunteers for the ISA. Join a CBS organisation that values the interests of international students and help improve overall student life on campus!

P.S. Your active participation in the ISA earns you a Student Citizenship point that you can use for your exchange application 🔥

The ISA’s mission is to help lift the burden on international students at CBS by giving them a warm welcome to Denmark and hosting various events around Copenhagen. Besides external events, the ISA also holds internal monthly meetings to discuss ideas, as well as social meet-ups such as picnics and a Christmas lunch for its volunteers to enjoy 🤝

We are a team of engaged, multicultural students, and we encourage everyone studying at CBS to apply, regardless of nationality or programme! 🌍

Want to help by sharing your experiences as an international student at CBS? 🌍

As part of a new research project within CBS Well-being Lab, international student experiences and their well-being are explored. Short (30 mins.) interviews will be conducted with international students (EU and non-EU) who are enrolled in bachelor or master programs, taking place in December and January! 🔥

Your insights can help contribute to meaningful research on a topic that deserves a lot more attention. Participation is voluntary, and the interviews will be conducted confidentially for research purposes only. 📝
