LEADERSHIFT: How the EMBA equipped Daniel Tewfik with strategic leadership capabilities and a transformation role at the LEGO Group.

Having built significant expertise through a career spanning breweries and government organisations, Daniel Tewfik recognised the need for a broader set of capabilities to progress into senior leadership. The CBS Executive MBA provided the challenge and development he was looking for.

Throughout the programme, Daniel gained new frameworks for interpreting and analysing his surroundings, enabling him to approach challenges through a more strategic lens.

The winners of the future will be those who make geopolitics a core responsibility.

This is one of they key messages from postdoctoral researcher Unnar Theodorsson, who studies strategic HR and risk management at Copenhagen Business School. In this article, he argues that companies should not treat geopolitics merely as a risk managment exercise, but rather a a strategic imperative.

"The classic approach for many has been to make Plan A and then a risk assessment. Now companies must accept that three or four alternatives are needed to safeguard against geopolitical developments."

LEADERSHIFT: Catherine Dorfman-Igel’s EMBA experience crystallised a new career path

For Strategic Solutions & Partnership Lead at MSD Animal Health, Catherine Dorfman-Igel, joining the CBS Executive MBA was as much about personal growth as it was about career development. It was an opportunity to fill knowledge gaps that even a long career and extensive experience could not address. Throughout the programme, she applied the learnings directly to real business challenges within her organisation.
