JUST IN: Starting February 1, risk classification for incoming travelers will be temporarily suspended. Returning overseas Filipinos who are fully vaccinated no longer have to go through mandatory quarantine.

While the whole world has struggled for two years managing a raging pandemic, other catastrophes are not on a holiday. On December 16th a category 5 typhoon hit the Philippines at full capacity causing an estimated damage of $786 million, devastating towns and villages across the Philippines and leaving people homeless. The recovery work is already on-going, but it will take months, if not years for the affected areas to fully recover.

We therefore urge you, in the best Christmas spirit, to donate, big or small, to help this beautiful nation rebuild their homes. Philippine Red Cross is providing emergency relief to victims of Odette around the Philippines. We wish for better times to come, and for a swift recovery for the victims of Odette.

The capital region accounts for 36% of the GDP of the Philippines. Making it a powerhouse of entrepreneurship and innovation in the country. The English capabilities of the Filipinos has made the capital one of the most sought-after business service providers. The city is also the epicenter of the country’s growing Tech-startup community.

The city has a great and diverse social life. Housing several famous neighborhoods such Poblacion, Makati CDB, Bonifacio Global City, Cubao, Intramuros and many other. It is bursting with restaurants, bars, historic experiences, and most of all hospitality beyond the ordinary!

The capital is often an overlooked part of this amazing country. But for those well known to the Philippines it is on the archipelagos best destination, and one of the best capitols to visit in Southeast Asia.
