We had great day at the Student Life Fair 2026 at AAU and SEA Esbjerg! 🎓

It was awesome to meet so many students, organizations and new faces - and getting the chance to introduce more people to Esbjerg Toastmasters!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand and had a chat with us.

🎤 Meeting #251 – Back in Action!

After our usual summer break, Esbjerg Toastmasters returned on August 12th - and what better theme to get us going again than “Back in Action”? 💪

It was an evening about getting back into the rhythm of Toastmasters, reconnecting with each other, and once again challenging ourselves through speeches and presentations.

Our Word of the Day was “reinvigorate” - to give new energy, strength, or enthusiasm to something. A fitting word for an evening focused on reigniting our motivation and getting excited about making progress again!

🎤 Looking Back at Meeting #248 – Preparing for Summer! ☀️

Before the summer break, Esbjerg Toastmasters met on June 24th for a meeting all about “Preparing for Summer.”

This time, we added something different: the microphone! 🎙️

Whether you’re giving a wedding speech, presenting at school or work, speaking at a debate, or addressing a larger audience, chances are you’ll eventually find yourself holding a microphone. So why not practice using one?

With speeches, Table Topics and plenty of opportunities to practice, we wrapped up June before many of our members took a well-earned summer break during July.

Now we're back in action — and there’s plenty more to come!

Another great evening at Esbjerg Toastmasters! 🎤

Meeting #247 was a little different, as Gergely and Marieke led a Speech Evaluation Workshop focused on how to give feedback that goes beyond "good job". The evening's theme, "Beyond Good Job," reminded us that thoughtful feedback is one of the best ways to help each other grow.

Marieke introduced the workshop with a Pathways speech, while Casper delivered an acceptance speech that participants evaluated as part of the workshop.

It was a fun and educational evening, and we were delighted to welcome four guests!
