Such an amazing joy to experience the musicianship, friendship and professionalism of all the young piano students at RDAM for this wonderful Pianomania Festival. Thank you so much to all of you and to the student organizers. A huge bravo to everyone✨🤩♥️♥️

Day 2 of Pianomania was also full of much fantastic music and energy! 🎵🎹🙌🎶
We had 2 concerts, a presentation of Olivier Messiaen by Ignasi Prunés, and even one of our pianists performed blindfolded 👀😵 can you see who it is?
We continue today with the last day of the festival with two concerts at 17.00 and 19.30.
The last concert is music for 2 pianos only, a festive way to end the festival 😎

Næste uge inviterer klaverfaggruppen til tre inspirerende dage i klaverets tegn, når Pianomania Festival løber af stablen på Studiescenen på Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium.
Oplev musik af Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Olivier Messiaen, Maurice Ravel og Dmitrij Sjostakovitj – fra klassisk elegance og farverig klangmagi til intens dramatik og modernistisk kant.
Festivalen giver publikum mulighed for at opleve morgendagens stjerner og talenter fra hele DKDMs klaverklasse.

Yesterday we had a wonderful masterclass with Russian-American pianist Kirill Gerstein at the academy's Studio Hall and piano classroom 007.
Tonight our students can enjoy Gerstein's concert as soloist with the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra.

Forleden besøgte en gruppe af DKDMs klaverstuderende Den Kongelige Ballet, hvor de overværede en kompagniklasse samt en sceneprøve på Art of the Fugue - og fik lejlighed til at tale med flere af pianisterne ansat ved balletten, som fortalte om deres arbejde - ført an af koordinator for balletpianisterne Ulrik Vesti. Tusind tak for invitationen!
