Free research alert!

“Support” is one of the most widely discussed—and debated—concepts in singing and speech. Yet it is often described in vague terms, and research investigating support through objective voice measurements remains limited.

Our newly published pilot study examines CVT support tools alongside an osteopathic treatment targeting the diaphragm. The results indicate that even a brief support-focused intervention can produce measurable changes in vocal range, volume, stability, and voice quality.

We are proud to share this latest publication in the Journal of Voice, created in collaboration with Authorised CVT Teacher Julie Møller Bie and Professor Mark Tempesta from the University of North Texas.

The study is also among the first to objectively investigate the effects of an osteopathic diaphragm intervention on the singing voice. The research formed part of Julie’s Master’s degree in Osteopathy—congratulations to Julie on both the publication and her new degree.

Yesterday, we celebrated the final concert of our first 5-Day Summer Course, and what a beautiful evening it was. Seeing everyone take the stage with confidence, joy, and passion was the perfect way to round off an incredible week together.
These past five days have been filled with music, learning, inspiration, and many special moments. Watching each of you grow, challenge yourselves, and support one another has been a true privilege.
Thank to everyone who joined us. Thank you for your trust, openness, your dedication, and for bringing your unique voices and wonderful energy to Complete Vocal Institute. You filled the house with warmth, positivity, and great singing.
We hope you leave inspired, with new tools, new friendships, and memories to cherish. We can't wait to welcome you back again at a later time

As we head into the summer break, we would like to take a moment to say thank you.
This year, our halls, rooms, and stage have been filled with curiosity, dedication, courage, creativity, and growth. We have had the great privilege of welcoming singers from around the world, all united sharing passion for learning, developing, and exploring the voice.
To every singer and member of our international CVI community: Thank you for being part of this journey. Your commitment, openness, and enthusiasm are what make this institute such a special place.
We are incredibly grateful for the trust you place in us and for the inspiring community we continue to build together.
Now it is time for a summer break. We hope you find time to rest, recharge, enjoy music, spend time with loved ones, and fully enjoy the holliday season.
