ARTTRAIN

Arttrain has just submitted an application to Erasmus+ concerning a cooperation-project, which is including:
1) Nov. 26: Staff-meeting in Copenhagen for 2 staff-members
2) Feb. 27 in Helsinki: training-course for coming group-leaders
3) April 27: Youth-exchange in Lithuania: 6 y.p. + 2 group-leaders
4) October.27: Youth-exchange in Poland: 6 y.p. + 2 group-leaders
5) Nov. 27: Final staff-meeting in Montluçon, FR for 2 staff-members

Happy New Year.
The young generation is step by step taking over, and in Arttrain’s board they are represented by:
- Clara Wärme Otterstrøm – dancer
- Daniela Ruxandra Stoian – visual artist
- Elitsa Radivoeva – actor
Clara and Elitsa did in 2021 participate in Arttrain’s 5 week long further-education project "Jobs for Young Artists” together with a.o. actor Karoline Amalie Severinsen, and they are these days working on a performance, which will be premiered Thursday 28th January in central Copenhagen.

Bon voyage et au revoir a le groupe Francaise de MJC / Centre Social de Montluçon.

The French group is first flying at 5:55, PM, so they have time for exploring Copenhagen, and here they are in front the famous French statue “The Thinker” by Auguste Rodin.

Goodbye / au revoir Vordingborg Youth-Hostel. Thanks for this time. We’re now heading for CPH-airport

This was the last day of the youth-exchange "Art contra Harcelement" with groups from MJC/Centre Social in Montluçon (FR), SDPL HKI-Uusimaa - Helsinki Pioneers (FI) and Danish association Arttrain.
We are thankful to Erasmus+ for making the project possible, and here are some picts from birthday-celebration, performance at TAMU-training-centre in Vordingborg, our session on how to make a follow-up project and then finally the evening's video from the project + the finalising circle.

Here Wednesday afternoon we have had an evaluation of our 2 performances (in Copenhagen and in Stubbekoebing) and after that Finnish participant Kuppo made a nice workshop-taster about hip-hop, song-writing and beats.

We left Vordingborg Youth-Hostel by bus Wednesday morning after breakfast and went over the highway-bridge to island Falster in order to perform at Landsbyordning Stubbekøbing Skole.
After another success with showing our dance we made a small walk during the town and passed the old townhall and symbolic statue before reaching the harbor and our bus.
This brought us to a small fisher-place at The Baltic Sea before heading back to Vordingborg and lunch.

Today, Tuesday 28th, we had our Copenhagen-day and walked almost 9 km. We explored the city-centre and went by metro to youth- centre “ Støberiet”, where we showed our performance. Then we walked back to Copenhagen shopping-mall before taking the S-train to Central Station and our train back to Vordingborg.

Finally it stopped raining, and we could go for a walk in Vordingborg and a.o. explore the old castle.
