With every ending comes a new beginning!

From August, Københavns Sprogcenter will be a part of Studieskolen.

You can still learn Danish – maybe even for free – at Studieskolen, and a lot of the teachers you know and love from Københavns Sprogcenter will work at Studieskolen from August.

Studieskolen offers Danish classes at different addresses in Copenhagen – and online.

Studieskolen has classrooms in central Copenhagen and Nordvest and will also be keeping the address at Valdemarsgade on Vesterbro.

Last but not least – the cartoons will continue! Matthias Parchettka has promised to make more fun Danish cartoons, now for Studieskolen.

Københavns Sprogcenter will become a part of Studieskolen

Københavns Sprogcenter (Copenhagen Language Center) has entered into an agreement with Studieskolen, which means that from 1 August 2022, Københavns Sprogcenter will be a part of Studieskolen.
Both language schools are known for offering Danish classes of high quality, and this will of course continue after Københavns Sprogcenter becomes Studieskolen.
Studieskolen is working on retaining most teachers, enabling you to continue your current course of Danish without major changes.
Studieskolen conducts classes on multiple addresses in Copenhagen, i.e. Borgergade and Vognmagergade in central Copenhagen and Hejrevej in Nordvest. Studieskolen will also be keeping the address at Valdemarsgade on Vesterbro.
It is our clear goal that you as a student will not experience any major differences in your classes.
The name of the school will change, and from 1 August you will come across signs in Valdemarsgade saying Studieskolen instead of Københavns Sprogcenter.

Fra 1. august bliver Københavns Sprogcenter en del af Studieskolen

Studieskolen er kendt for at tilbyde danskundervisning af høj kvalitet, og vi er glade for at blive en del af et stort sprogcenter. Studieskolen fortsætter med mange af vores lærere, og i vores lokaler i Valdemarsgade på Vesterbro, og man kan fra 1. august også gå til undervisning i Borgergade og Vognmagergade i Indre by, samt på Hejrevej i Nordvest.

Studieskolen starter også den officielle Danskuddannelse den 1. august og har altid undervisning i en lang række fremmedsprog, som københavnerne har nydt godt af i årevis. Sammenlægningen af skolerne giver vores kursister en masse at vælge imellem.

Det er vores klare mål, at du som kursist i selve undervisningen ikke vil opleve nogen væsentlig forskel, men i stedet vil få mange nye muligheder for at lære dansk hurtigt og effektivt.

Danish is easy! Just follow these instructions and you can pronounce any Danish word 😁

The Danes have quite a few words with "mand" in them (the d is silent). And there are many more than these ... for example "ikke-mand" 🙂 Feel free to add the ones we missed below.
