That’s this year’s AOM complete! Thanks to everyone who participated in whatever way, especially members of the RMD Executive Committee and other volunteers who made it such a success. Safe travels home to those of you who are going today, and we hope to see most of you next year… in Vienna!

Today’s the biggest day of the program for the Research Methods Division. Two things in particular to mention: the business meeting (16.00-17.00, Marriott Level 5 – Salon C), and the reception (17.00-19.00, Marriott Level 5 – Salon D). Hope to see you there!

Day 2 at AOM, and another strong day for Professional Development Workshops. Some selected highlights include an interesting session on vignette studies (8.30-10.30, Marriott Level 5 – Salon E), a session on team research (12.30-14.00, Marriott Level 4 – Franklin 2), and a session on qualitative dissertations (13.00-16.00, Marriott Level 4 – Franklin 5). And we’re off! Today’s PDW highlights include two Ask the Experts sessions: one on Quantitative methods (11.00-12.30, Marriott Level 4 – Franklin 3), and one on Qualitative methods (13.00-14.30, same location). A great opportunity to learn from the best!

The main event starts tomorrow… the city is buzzing… and we’re preparing for the 30 PDWs and 48 other papers etc. that are on the RMD’s part of the program this year. We look forward to seeing you here!

Nearly time for AOM 2026 now. Note that the conference takes place across several venues, some of which are a few minutes’ walk from each other; this is the Convention Center where a lot will be happening, but much of the RMD activity will be in the nearby Marriott hotel. Philadelphia is a fairly walkable city, so it’s worth getting your bearings!

For those of you who are traveling to AOM from outside North America, there’s plenty to see in Philadelphia while you’re here. As well as some great historical sights (see previous posts), there’s also some wonderful sporting action to take in if you like that sort of thing. The Phillies will be playing next week at Citizens Bank Park, for example – a great excuse to take in some of America’s pastime while contemplating statistics!
