Who are we?
We’re a team of passionate, highly educated Danish teachers at Kartoffeldansk, a small language school offering an alternative to large groups and fast-paced public schools. Our classes are intimate—either private lessons or small groups of max. 6 students—so you get plenty of feedback and time to practice.

I dag var hele teamet ude at drikke en drink og spise middag sammen. Det gør vi hvert halve år - en sommermiddag og en julefrokost. Og det giver så god mening for os, at vi snakker sammen og lærer hinanden at kende udover vores arbejde i Kartoffeldansk. Det gør, at vi er endnu gladere for at komme på arbejde. Rigtig god weekend til jer alle derude!

I dag var hele Kartoffeldansk-teamet samlet til temadag, som i dag handlede om brug af AI i vores arbejde som sprogundervisere. Vi lærer altid så meget af at sparre med hinanden og af vores konstruktive snakke.

Vidste du, at vi mødes hver uge til personalemøde, hvor vi sparrer og koordinerer med hinanden om vores undervisning og vores kursister? Teamets tætte samarbejde er noget af det, der gør Kartoffeldansk unik.
Hver anden måned har vi også temamøde som i dag, hvor vi erfaringsudveksler og sparrer med hinanden om et bestemt tema.

What a lovely evening!

Thank you to everyone who came to Speed Danish. It was such a cosy afternoon with great conversations, a fun quiz, and plenty of Danish being spoken. Very much in the Kartoffeldansk spirit.

Sign up for this year's intensive summer school and practice Danish every day!

The summer school runs 27th–31st of July and 3rd–7th of August

This is the perfect chance to boost your Danish in a safe environment, with a focus on speaking and plenty of feedback from our dedicated teachers. Classes run from 12–3 pm, Monday to Friday, in small groups of maximum 6 people – so you’ll get a lot of attention and space to practice.

We offer two levels, A1 and A2, and you can choose to join for one week or both. Not sure which level you’re at? Just get in touch and we’ll help you figure it out.
