U13+ TRAINING SESSION | FOCUS: SHOOTING ⚽

2 hours built around finishing.

🟢 Warm-Up – 4v2 Rondo (15 min)
Quick feet, quick heads. Get the ball moving and the bodies warm before anyone strikes it.

🟢 Technical – Manchester United Passing & Finishing Drill (15 min)
Sharp combinations through the cones, then finish. Both sides running at once, high tempo, plenty of reps.

🟢 Tactical – Finishing with Diagonal Runs (25 min)
Timing the run across the defender and attacking the space in behind. Clean strike, first time where possible.

🟢 Game – 3v3 on Goals (35 min)
Small teams, big goals, keepers in. Fast rotations and a shooting chance every few seconds.

🟢 Match – 11v11 (30 min)
Take it into the full game. Reward the finishes that come from what we trained.

⚽ The Ball Control Circle 🔥

A high-energy warm-up that sharpens first touch, passing and coordination.

8 players stand on a circle with a ball each, 6 players start in the middle. The inside players sprint out to a free partner, receive a served ball, return it, then sprint back to the centre cone and find a new free player on the line.

✅ Foot control, right and left
✅ Chest to foot
✅ Knee to foot
✅ Headers

Rotate roles after 3-5 minutes so everyone gets a turn inside. Simple to set up, fun to run, and packed with repetitions. 🔥

7v7+2 Possession Drill ⚽🔥

Two teams of 7 play for possession inside a 20x30m grid, with a neutral player positioned outside each end line. The neutrals play with the team in possession and can't be tackled, so there's always an option to relieve pressure.

Scoring: A team scores a point by playing the ball to one neutral player and then working it all the way through the grid to the neutral at the opposite end - without losing possession. Lose the ball, and you press immediately to win it back.

The end-to-end scoring is what makes it work. Players can't just circulate the ball safely on one side; they have to find the switch, open passing angles and move the ball with purpose through a crowded middle.

U8–U10 TRAINING SESSION | FOCUS: PASSING ⚽

90 minutes built around one thing: getting the ball moving quickly and accurately.

🟢 Warm-Up - 2 Player Passing Drill (15 min)
Pass, follow, receive. Simple pairs work in gates to get first touches sharp.

🟢 Small Sided Game - Protect the Ball (15 min)
Every player with a ball inside the grid. Shield yours, knock the others out.

🟢 Passing Drill - Y-Passing Drill (25 min)
Pass into the middle, bounce it wide, follow your pass. Both sides running at once.

🟢 Possession Drill - 2v2 on Small Goals (35 min)
Small teams, quick rotations, plenty of touches and decisions per player.

Players: +20 | Time: 1.5h | Intensity: 5/10

Conditioning with a ball at every station 👇

1️⃣ Tic-Tac-Toe warm-up - sprint to the grid, claim a square, three in a row wins (15–20 min)
2️⃣ 2v2 on small goals - short, flat-out rounds, winners stay on (15–20 min)
3️⃣ 1v1 shooting - race the opponent to the coach's pass, then attack or defend (25 min)
4️⃣ 7v7+2 possession - two neutrals on the end lines, non-stop pressing (25 min)
5️⃣ Training match - put it all together (30 min)
