Københavns Mode- og Designskole - Copenhagen Academy of Fashion Design

The 5th. of May, we welcomed yet again EU-Cotton and their experts for a Seminar and workshop about European-grown sustainable, non-gmo Cotton-production. Only through knowledge and smart choices can we and the future designers bring about the changes in the Fashion World that we need. It all begins at the source of the fiber.

The students presented silhouettes created from sustainable fabrics offered by EU-Cotton.

Maintaining the highest technical standards requires the best tools. Our longstanding collaboration with Stockman in Paris continues and we are now welcoming our first personalized dressforms to the Academy.

Once again we have had the pleasure of sending students to the Saga Fur-hub in Helsinki gaining knowledge alongside students from other international schools. This time the main focus was on North American Royal Black Mink.

Welcoming the students from the 1st Experimental Lyceum of Larissa, Greece for a presentation of the Academy and our transmission of knowledge and craft.

Og lige pludselig var sommerskolen 2025 overstået. Fredag d. 1.august sagde 20 elever fra 7 nationer farvel efter 3 ugers sommerskole hvor de har prøvet de fleste af disciplinerne vi underviser i på skolen og hver har arbejdet på deres unikke design. Tak for 3 spændende uger i jeres selskab!

And just like that, Summer Academy 2025 ended. Friday the 1st. of August, 20 students from 7 nations bid their farewells after 3 weeks of Summer Academy, where they have tried most of the disciplines we teach here at the Academy and worked on individual designs. Thank you for 3 exciting weeks in your company!
