Team Peru Team Peru is a non-for-profit group within the CIS community that raises money for the Mama Cocha Children’s Center in Mancora, Peru. What is Team Peru?

Team Peru was founded in 2007 and has since then supported abandoned, abused and neglected children in Peru. Team Peru is a service learning initiative led by students at Copenhagen International School and dedicated to improving the lives of abused, abandoned and special needs children at Mama Cocha's Children's Home in northern Peru. For the past eight years, CIS students have committed their ti

me and effort - through birthday parties, an annual fun run, and other community volunteer events - to fund operations at Mama Cocha.
