Fourteen researchers from across the University of Copenhagen have contributed to a new interdisciplinary textbook on sustainability and the green transition for upper secondary education. We are pleased that Associate Professor Stig Jensen from our centre is among the contributors, bringing his expertise and perspectives to the publication.

How are efforts to tackle plastic pollution changing the lives of those who make a living from waste in Kenya?
Researchers at the Centre of African Studies at the University of Copenhagen, in partnership with researchers at Kenyatta University and Busara in Nairobi, will be exploring this question over the next five years.
The project is funded by Danida Fellowship Centre and led by Ben Jones and Hannah Elliott. It will begin in 2026 and run for five years. CAS looks forward to working with our partners in Kenya!
