Distortion Institute Distortion Institute is interested in the multifaceted dynamics that make up Copenhagen Distortion. We're the thoughtful yin to Distortion's hedonistic yang.

Distortion Institute is a theoretical approach to partying and entertainment. The overall idea is to stimulate new conceptions of music, partying, street culture and art through reflection and play. Using the city as its canvas, scene and inspiration, Distortion has delivered a thoroughly convincing argument for partying as an end in and of itself, and the freeing potential of living in the moment

. Fuelled by tolerance and enthusiasm, the festival has formed a space, which has acted as a living laboratory wherein the distance between dream and actualised reality can be surprisingly short.
