We are finally open again! 🔑

Tech Lounge is a lab focusing on new technology. Here all KEA students can borrow equipment such as; cameras, microphones, lighting kits etc. Whether you’re doing a product shoot, a podcast or want to experiment with RaspberryPis, we got you covered. We are here to help you navigate in the modern digital landscape.

Congratulations to all of you who have graduated! 🧑‍🎓 We wish you all the best in the future. And to the rest of you, a big congratulations on finishing the semester. What a (very different…) semester it has been. You deserve a long and peaceful holiday.

Tech Lounge is closed until the start of next semester on Monday August 23. If you have overdue items that you would like to return before the summer holidays, today and tomorrow from 09:00-14:00 is your last chance. On a sidenote, we are almost done packing the equipment for our move from Lygten 16 to Guldbergsgade, which will be our new home. We can’t wait to reveal a lot more good news in the coming semester…

That’s right – we are finally back to being physically present at KEA! 👀 That means you are more than welcome to drop by Tech Lounge to collect or return equipment on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 09:00-14:00. Like always, you need to reserve equipment online in advance 😊. On top of that, we recently changed location. But don’t worry, we didn’t move too far away. In fact, you can find us just next door to our old location on Lygten 16, 1st floor. We can’t wait to see you again!

Please remember, if you are going to be physically present at KEA, you need to have a negative Covid-19 test taken within the previous 72 hours. It can be both a PCR test and a quick test/antigen test. Read more at mit.kea.dk/en/corona-virus about test requirements and about the special cases in which you may be exempt from test requirements.

Tech Lounge is temporarily closed during the Easter holidays from March 29 - April 5 (we will be open again on Tuesday April 6). Dear everyone, due to recent Covid 19 updated guidelines we want to let you know that our policy is changing as well. Please take a look and get yourself familiar with the information below:

🔸 Tech Lounge is physically CLOSED for students (no students are allowed inside of KEA)
🔸 In order to collect and return the equipment you NEED to follow new instructions that will be inside "ready-to-collect" email you receive.
🔸( You get "ready-to-collect" email when your equipment is ready).
🔸 New policy will stay in tact until a further notice.

📣 Hello, everyone!

▸ We hope you are all doing well. We have some exciting news about the upcoming event at KEA Maker LAB!

▸ Our friend KEA Maker LAB is hosting a drone workshop with a bunch of great things you could test out:

▸ Design, build and race your own FPV drone, based on custom drone kit that we provide. You design the frame and the canopy for optimal performance and/or aesthetic looks. We finish the workshop with an epic race day in PCG big machine hall.
