Here are some pics from our shoot last week at Holsteinborg Castle, where we had privileged access to film H.C. Andersens old rooms, otherwise closed to the public. H.C. Andersen spent a good deal of his time here the final 15 years of his life, and wrote many of hist stories and poems from here. When he died, his rooms were simply locked and remained untouched since, leaving all his things as they were. A rare window into history. We were there along with photographer Emil Monty Freddie to document this fantastic place in pictures and video for future generations.

Sad news last week, hearing that Hans Rosling passed away.

We have had the privilege to collaborate with Hans and the staff at The Karolinska Institute in Stockholm on several occasions, ranging from animated visuals to interactive data visualization projects.

Hans was inspiring, personally, in his positive message and world view, as well as in his awesome ability to visualize and successfully communicate complex knowledge. The picture is from a workshop we participated in, where Hans is using data-visualisations to persuade the lead statistician at UN-AIDS to look at HIV medicine coverage rates in a new light.

While we morn his passing, we also remember and celebrate him for the inspiration and leadership in communicating visually, that he gifted us and the world.
