Ensemble Felix opfører næste weekend mit nye stykke Remembrance for 10 instrumenter. Det sker ved to koncerter 25. april i Sundby Kirke og 26. april i Vallensbæk Kirke, begge dage kl. 16, og der er gratis adgang.

Langfredagsgudstjeneste i Bagsværd Kirke i går, hvor Jørgen Ellegaard blandt andet spillede mit orgelstykke Elegie pour la memoire som intermezzo mellem Jesu fjerde og femte korsord. Stykket ender med, at orglet skal slukkes, mens slutakkorden holdes og skaber en langstrakt og spøgelsesagtig udklang, der varierer fra orgel til orgel.

Today in Rye Kirke, .carmina sings new choral music from the composers. I am represented by three pieces in the program, among them this new setting of the old hymn “Jeg vil mig Herren love”.

“Remembrance” for chamber orchestra. I have just finished the score today and am looking forward to getting feedback from the Ensemble Felix who is going to perform the piece this spring.

Asger Hamerik’s Requiem from 1887 goes chromatic!

lullaby, a tiny composition from 1997, actually first conceived at my old piano as a written score of only four bars. afterwards played directly on a midi keyboard into my first notation software, which was musicator. then I added bass lines and several layers stretching the tune to almost three minutes. and then recorded it from the soundcard to cassette tape and again digitally recorded the cassette tape track to what you now are hearing. have a nice sleep everyone.
