The Deepsea Challenge is Rolex’s most uncompromising diver. 50 mm in RLX titanium, built around the Ringlock system with a helium escape valve, and pressure tested to 11,000 metres. The dimensions are considerable on paper, but titanium keeps the weight down, and the watch wears far more comfortably than the numbers suggest.

Few watches represent the revival of A. Lange & Söhne better than the Langematik ref. 308.025.

Crafted in solid platinum and powered by the legendary Sax-O-Mat movement, it was the first automatic calibre developed by the brand following its rebirth. Featuring Lange’s signature outsize date and the ingenious zero-reset mechanism, the Langematik combined innovation with traditional Saxon watchmaking in a way few others could.

Beneath the dial lies everything collectors admire about Lange: German silver plates, hand-engraved details, blued screws, and a beautifully finished rotor in 21k gold with a platinum mass.

A remarkable piece of modern horological history that has now found its next custodian.
