We hope that you are all doing well and are back at work after Corona.

ITU Career have been contacted by DR, who are working on a new case.

They are working on a feature about companies that discriminate when recruiting for jobs. For example, by targeting the advertising on Facebook so that it only reaches men. That example could be particularly relevant in IT.

They are therefore looking for a man and a woman, newly graduated and job seekers, who wants to be involved in an experiment that will ultimately be brought in a feature for the News at DR.

If you are with a company or an individual focused on leveraging technology for impact then this Innovation & Entrepreneurship Talk is for you.

PhD Fellow Hasib Ahsan will talk about "Information Technology for Social Good: Creating an Impact in Global South Countries." Hasib’s research addresses Information Technology tools to address societal challenges in underprivileged communities. For the last 8 years, he has been involved in designing and implementing IT-based large scale projects in South and South-East Asia.

Now, he is studying different information systems, mobile-based health care infrastructures which are trying to make an impact on people’s lives. He also is working as a Co-PI on the Rohingya Refugee mHealth Project in Bangladesh – funded by Novo Nordisk Fonden
