We didn't have workshops this week, due to us going on a field trip tomorrow to the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek !
We'll be doing sketches for a few hours and then we'll have a combination and review of all you have.
I'll be walking around with you guys talking about the exhibition, but mostly it'll be you flying solo, gaining inspiration from what you see # # #
Take paper, pencils, pens and yourself ! We'll meet up at 12AM! at the entrance. Don't be late, please.

HAVE YOU A CREATIVE MIND AND AN
ARTISTIC TALENT - COME JOIN OUR TEAM. The workshops will most probably take place each Wednesday in Minimars from 11 to 3pm.
The workshops will be conducted in English and the teaching will be only a minor part of them, beginning with an introduction to a historical period in Art or famous artists, after which you'll have 3 hours more or less to create your own interpretation of it, through drawing, painting, etc. There will be a mailing list or Facebook group informing you of what materials to bring each week.

This is going to be the third workshop and seeing as 3 is my favourite number, this time I'll also introduce you all to my favourite artist.
I promised you a lesson of dog sketches, but I changed my mind and I want you to be ready for painting *If you can't get a hold of paints, then bring pastels* - but you'll be using acrylics on A2 or A3. I'll bring a beautiful still life for you to enrapture.
I'll start off with a presentation on Claude Monet. The arranged still life will be based mostly on him, so hopefully by just mentioning that you'll get an idea of what is to come.
Thursday again, minimars, 2:30pm.
Don't forget about the workshops today at 2:30 !

Dear all !
Tomorrow's workshops cannot take place at 11 due to re-exams taking place in Minimars. I am certain I could squeeze our classes in on Thursday starting at 2:30pm - I just would need your responses if you're available for such a rescheduling ? So please reply to this message to let me know if either this Thursday or simply next Wednesday suits you best. Depending on your answers - I'll let you know latest tomorrow on the situation.
Of course we'll be doing model drawing.

the artist of the week: Rembrandt Bugatti.
(1884 - 1916) he's one of the most independent and remarkable sculptors of the 20th century.
In his time he was renowned and loved, yet now the memory of him has fallen into oblivion.
He had one continues subject that fascinated him, the portrayal of animals especially big cats.
He never attended an art academy. Being self taught his work is like non other and thus even more special.
love him or hate him, he is the artist to check out!
***His work has been recently gathered and shown for the first time for a temporary exhibition in Berlin's National Gallery. The sculptures will be there until the 27th of July this year.
Dear all you Artists !
The workshops are cancelled tomorrow and will take place again on the 16th of April.
This is due to a unfixable personal issue to which I'm sorry, yet still I am more than looking forward to seeing you all again in two weeks time.
