Business simulations and learning in the risk-free universe 🌍
We often use when developing learning games, but what does it mean?
Well, in all its simplicity it’s creating and using a life-like training course to develop the players’ skillset ✍️
It’s a safe space where players try their hand at the task without being deterred by the potential negative consequences 📉
A risk-free universe allows players to be bolder and try things they wouldn’t in the real world. Because the risk factor isn’t as impactful - but the learning potential is 🙌

In April we launched our 5th game for the Natural History Museum here in Denmark 🎉
All five games are based on our museum game format, where visitors are guided through an exhibition, looking closely at selected pieces, and testing their knowledge 🕵️🦴
It’s a simple design, yet very effective for the intended audience. It simply adds that little bit of extra flair for visitors, who prefer exploring with a specific purpose in mind 😄

Our solutions might have become more digital over the pandemic, but we still value the medium from time to time. Especially a great board game 🎲

If you ask us, there are at least three important aspects for games to be an effective tool for learning 🧠
1) The game ensures the students have an authentic reason for learning 🙋
2) The game makes space for the teacher 🧑🏫
3) The game is actually a game-based educational course 📆

In late 2020 we launched Mazeout. A game-based, digital tool for patients battling eating disorders.
Mazeout proved that games can in fact be a valuable tool as a part of patient care.🩺
It showcased an unused potential that it’s now time to fulfill. A few weeks ago, we officially started working on the next installment. 💪
