Reviews like this mean so much to me because they’re exactly why I started Disco Babies in the first place 💜

I wanted to create classes that babies enjoy, but that parents genuinely enjoy coming to too — somewhere to get out of the house, see familiar faces, make friends and feel part of something.

And I’ll keep doing what I’m doing for as long as families keep telling me Disco Babies makes them feel this way.

Thank you so much to everyone who takes the time to leave a review. I read every single one, and they really do mean a lot to me 💜

🦈 It’s Baby Shark Week and the first week back for the Autumn Term! 💜

Disco Babies is back this week and I’m starting with one of my favourite themes — Baby Shark 🦈

Expect lots of singing, sensory play, bubbles and a great story this week, with plenty of under-the-sea fun too 🐟

There are still some spaces if you’d like to join me this week:

TUESDAY — AMAGER, Forest Room
🦈 Babies | 10:45am
🦈 Boppers | 12pm

WEDNESDAY — ØSTERBRO / SVANEMØLLEN
🦈 Boppers | 12pm

THURSDAY — VESTERBRO
🦈 Boppers | 12pm

Single-class bookings are open too, so you don’t need to book the whole term if you’d just like to come along and try a class.

And if you’ve already booked, I can’t wait to see everybody back in class this week 💜

Book via the link in bio 💜

🎶 It’s time for Sunday Singalong! 🎶

Today’s song is Slippery Fish 🐟 — getting everyone ready for Baby Shark Week, which starts on Tuesday 🦈💜

This is such a lovely song because you can enjoy it in so many different ways depending on the age of your little one.

👶 With younger babies, sit them on your lap and do the actions with your hands in front of them. Moving your hands from side to side gives them something interesting to watch and encourages a little bit of visual tracking.

You can also turn it into a flying tummy time song! Hold your baby safely in a flying tummy time position and let them “swim” around like all the different sea creatures, changing the direction and pace of your movement as you go. This gives them lots of lovely movement and vestibular input too.

🐠 With older babies and toddlers, encourage them to join in with the actions themselves. And there are PLENTY of opportunities for tickles and pretending to gobble them up during the gulp, gulp, gulp! 😂

It’s a really fun one for all ages!!!

Have a little singalong and let me know how your little one reacts! 💜

See you for Baby Shark Week! 🦈

Want to try Disco Babies without booking a full term? 💜

PAYG spaces are now OPEN!

With the new term starting next week, I’ve released the remaining spaces in my classes as individual bookings.

So whether you’d like to try Disco Babies for the first time, can only make certain weeks, or just fancy adding a little Disco Babies to your plans this autumn, you can now book the dates that work for you.

Disco Babies is for little ones from 6 weeks to 4 years, with music, movement, stories, sensory play and a completely different theme each week.

PAYG availability is limited and varies between classes, so once a space has gone, it’s gone.

You can see all the available dates, ages, times and venues through the booking link in my bio 💜

And if you know someone who’s been wanting to try Disco Babies, please send this post to them 💜

Thinking about trying Disco Babies but have a few questions first? 💜

I’ve answered some of the things I’m asked most often, from whether your baby is too young (they probably aren’t!) to whether you have to sing or dress them up for the weekly themes 😂

Hopefully this gives you a little idea of what to expect and reassures you that there really is no “right” way for you or your little one to do Disco Babies.

Every baby is different, every parent is different, and you are both very welcome just as you are 💜

Have I missed anything? Pop your question in the comments or send me a DM and I’ll happily answer it.

And if you’re already a Disco Babies regular, what would YOU tell someone thinking about coming for the first time? 💜

If you feel like you’ve sung the same song approximately 847 times this week, keep going 💜

Little ones LOVE repetition, and there’s a really good reason for it.

When little ones hear the same songs again and again, they start to recognise the words, rhythms and actions. Over time, they begin to anticipate what’s coming next and start having a go at joining in too.

I also love adding different sensory experiences to familiar songs.

Here we’re singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat while exploring our stretchy scrunchie band. Pulling, holding, reaching and moving the band gives little ones another way to experience a song they’re beginning to recognise.

It’s one of the reasons you’ll hear some familiar songs popping up again and again at Disco Babies. The activity might change, but that familiar song gives your little one something they already know.

So if you’re wondering whether your baby is bored of hearing the same song over and over again… probably not. Sing it again 💜

What song is currently on repeat in your house? 💜
