Shaping a Career in Leadership: Nikolaj Jørgensen, Vice CEO at Trackman

How do you move from studying Economics at the University of Copenhagen to executive leadership roles in some of Denmark’s most prominent companies?

Nikolaj Jørgensen has taken that journey himself. From working as a teaching assistant at the university and as a consultant at McKinsey to senior leadership roles at Novo Nordisk, serving as CFO of 3Shape, and today as Vice CEO of Trackman, a global frontrunner in sports technology.

At this event, Nikolaj will share his experiences of building a career that spans strategy, corporate finance, business development, and executive leadership. You will gain insights into how an economist can navigate large organizations, drive transformation, and take the step toward top management positions.

The event is particularly relevant for students seeking inspiration for their own career paths and a clearer understanding of the many opportunities a degree in Economics can lead to. Nikolaj will offer practical insights into the key decisions, experiences, and skills that can shape your path from university studies to senior leadership positions.

Women Mentoring Women 2026

This mentorship program is designed for women pursuing BSc and MSc degrees who want to grow both personally and professionally.
Through a combination of social activities and top-tier workshops delivered by Bain & Company, you will gain the tools to reflect on your personality, identify your strengths, map your path to success, and boost your confidence.

Each participant will be paired with a Bain mentor who will guide you throughout the programme. By joining the Women Mentoring Women programme, you’ll not only receive expert career coaching and personal development guidance but also join a community of like-minded, ambitious women.

For those interested in a career in consulting, this mentorship guarantees an interview for the Associate Consultant/Associate Consultant Internship by the end of the programme.
