We won a Danish grammy yesterday !!!

Sunday night we got our first ever Danish Music Award for "World Album of the Year 2016" for Indians & Cowboys. We are super proud, happy and not least surprised. Many people are part of this crazy journey that we are on, but some of them needs a special shout out in relation to this album and this award:

Our powerhouse manager and friend Sidse Gry Jeppesen, our sound-sensei-in-all-matters James A Hancock and our Godfather Jean Trouillet. The almighty Ossian Ryner for mixing this album as his own baby. The monster talented Claes Otto Jennow for art working; 2000F for laying down killer dubs. Longtime friend and School pusher Laia Kverneland. Mikkel Crash Vanderbilt Gemzøe for mastering over and over again. And of course World Music Denmark and the jury for the prize and the overwhelming words.

Den Sorte Skole wins Danish World Album of the Year at Danish Music Awards WORLD 2016 - Udsolgt and I couldn't be more proud of them. The fact that an album made electronically with samples from all over the world can win this award, points into the future and is so so important.
