A beautiful Lowcountry marsh for 🌍 Day. We love our marshes—and not just because they’re photogenic! For Earth Day, we read a NOAA Fisheries article about them, and here’s what we learned: Marshes improve water quality, have the ability to trap pollutants and carbon, act as a storm surge buffer during storms and flooding, and provide home to all kinds of Lowcountry species—from oysters and sea trout to crabs and clams. What an amazing resource! 💚💙
