✨ A dream come true — visiting Billund, Denmark 🇩🇰, the true home of the brick!

From LEGOLAND® Billund to the LEGO® House (Home of the Brick), I spent my days exploring, playing, and learning in the birthplace of LEGO®.

For me, as a LEGO® Serious Play® facilitator, this wasn’t just travel — it was about reconnecting with the origins of play, creativity, and imagination.

🧱 What I took away:
– Play fuels creativity
– Learning happens through building
– And sometimes, the best ideas come one brick at a time

This was such an inspiring journey — and I can’t wait to bring the energy and insights back into my facilitation with The Brick Smiths.

In LEGO® Serious Play®, the way we frame the question is just as important as the build itself.

✨ Meet Gregory, our LEGO® elephant 🐘

In one of our LEGO® Serious Play® workshops, the group gave him a name — and suddenly he wasn’t just a model, he was a metaphor.

Like the fable of the Blind Men and the Elephant, each person sees only a part of the picture. Together, they create the whole.

That’s the power of metaphor in action — helping us step outside assumptions and find clarity, creativity, and connection.

As part of a LEGO® Serious Play® activity with RMIT’s Certificate IV in Training and Assessment students, the challenge was “Build a tower with you in it.”

Each build became a story — sparking reflection on identity, learning, and assessment.
