SOCIAL PERMACULTURE AT MIKROGAARDEN

MIKROGAARDEN is a lovely little oasis with campfire, chickens, a communal garden, forest, and lots of little cozy nooks to hang out in. The perfect place to get inspired and learn about permaculture.

REFORMING KINIMA  
This video is a wonderful memory from the summer of ’21 - talking and singing about change and finding new ways. And we find that it fits perfectly into what we want to share with you today.   After a year of silence we are finally ready to share what we’ve been working on. Throughout the year we’ve met up with curiosity to figure out the future road for Kínima - and we realized that it is not something to just figure out on our own - it is something to dream about and find new ways in cooperation with people who wish to share the journey with us.

It will be hosted by Mikrogaarden which is a beautiful little permaculture farm on Zealand - so if you feel like getting your hands dirty and learn how to apply permaculture in social projects then join from the 17th - 21st of May. KINIMA IS MOVING  

Dear community,  It is both with sadness and relief that we have decided to leave our home on Møn.  

We have come to the conclusion that our home, the building, is neither suited for a community, nor a højskole. It has taken a lot of our energy trying to turn this place into something it cannot be and we no longer wish to do that. We want to spend all our time on evolving our vision for a sustainable future.   

That means we’re at a point where we are beginning to dream again. Dreaming of which form Kínima is supposed to take now. If something comes to mind, you are warmly welcome to dream with us. Please feel free to share in the comments, or send us a message.  

The time spent here has filled us with beautiful memories, and we are very grateful for the space and time shared. A huge thank you to every single one of you, who has spent time with us on Møn. You and this place are the reason why Kínima is what it is today, and we are very grateful for that!  

This is NOT the end of Kínima. For sure. We are currently making plans for the summer - stay updated as dates will come soon.

PERMACULTURE COURSE FALL’21

 Come and spend four days in the spirit of højskole doing Permaculture, Moving and Connecting in beautiful surroundings.
 

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE COURSE:

- Theory and dialogue around the principles and ethics of permaculture
- Practical hands on in both our garden and at a local permaculture garden
- Morning movements to get the body ready for a day outside
- To be and take part of a community

 WHEN IS IT?

It will be from the 21st - 24th of October and the first early bird ends on monday.

CONTACT IMPROV GATHERING: Presenting the third teacher.

Thomas has practised contact improvisation, contemporary dance and various other movement practices for the past 5 years, while working as a freelance physical actor and dancer.

He is interested in the liberating aspects of dance, and often uses humor and curiosity as engines to create a playful atmosphere in his teachings.

THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE OF DATE FOR WHEN WE START LONG COURSES .

Sometimes we all have to be flexible and allow ourselves more space, adjust the plans and accept the change. You might know the feeling? Its actually something that is an important value at Kinima - to practice flexibility and adaptability.

Therefor we made the desicion to change the dates for when we start long courses. There will be no long course starting up in January 2022 but instead you can now:

SIGN UP FOR LONG COURSES STARTING IN AUGUST 2022.

A stay at Kínima is for you who wishes to explore ways to live sustainably. Through MOVEMENT, DEBATES and HANDCRAFT.
