AMPLIFICATION DAYS

Aarhus, April - Amplification Days is set to expand the classical music landscape by exploring the fusion of traditional piano repertoire with amplified soundscapes. The project introduces audiences to a unique auditory experience that combines the richness of acoustic piano tones with the versatility of amplified sounds. Piano students of RAMA will present works for piano solo.

Huge thanks to soloist class student Mikkel Torup for a very thorough and inspiring lecture and demonstration of the methods and philosophy of Vincenzo Scaramuzza, teacher of several generations of influential pianists, including Martha Argerich.

This piano method is one of the most thorough and detailed ever, and it seems worthwhile for any pianist or teacher to gain knowledge about it and try out its methods. Thank you, Mikkel!

Really happy about the great success with OPUS23! 10 concerts with impressive performances of a wide range of works from the vast repertoire of piano repertoire (as well as chamber music and song):
A large and interested audience, a huge inspiration from the professors and students from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest and a great organization from the students led by Aleksander Roman.
