Cogniton and Behaviour Lab is situated within the Fuglesangs Alle campus, at Aarhus University. The Lab offers two computer labs that are installed with various software programs, three soundproofed labs, and a large flexible room which can meet the diverse needs of research teams. Various disciplines collaborate at the Lab including Economics, Psychology, Neuroscience, Marketing, Political Scienc

Our new address is Bartholins Allé 13, building 1343. We already have new studies running, so sign up for one and come see the new lab.

Directions to find the lab: look for the sign that says 'psykologisk institut' above the entrance. Look also for our sign outside that says 'Cognition and Behavior Lab'. You can see both on the first image.

A new study at COBE Lab investigates how we process visual patterns from the past.

Participants will participate in five experiments. To participate you cannot depend on glasses or have astigmatism (bygningsfejl).

A new study at COBE Lab investigates true cost in virtual environments.

Participation in this study will involve completing a survey in the lab and buying products in a Virtual Reality supermarket.

The study takes 45 minutes and you earn 100 DKK including a product.

En forsker fra fødevarevidenskab som kører sit studie i COBE Lab, mangler nogle få deltagere der opfylder følgende krav:

- Er kvinder
- Er mellem 20-59 år
- Har et BMI på minimum 25

Hvis du opfylder kravene, kan du tjene 275 DKK på at deltage. Som deltager får du et gratis frokostmåltid her i lab'et, hvor du skal gennemføre nogle opmærksomhedsøvelser mens du spiser og rapporterer omkring din appetit og oplevelse.

New study on learning in Virtual Reality! 🕹️

Support science while experiencing Virtual Reality. In this study, you will be trying virtual reality while completing simple tasks related to learning programming concepts. OBS: participating requires having no/limited prior knowledge of programming.

Requirements: No/limited prior knowledge of programming; proficient in English; normal or corrected-to-normal vision; have no known learning or language impairment; Danish CPR number; EasyAccount (NemKonto).

New study on choice under uncertainty! 🎲

This study is a lab experiment. During the experiment, colored marbles will be drawn from an opaque bag. You will make a number of bets on the color of the marbles that are drawn. The purpose of the study is to investigate how individuals make decisions under uncertainty in order to test key assumptions behind economic models.

The study takes 50 minutes. You will be paid either 75 DKK or 225 DKK in total depending on your decisions and the outcome of the draw from the bag and a roll of dice.

New study: Experience "True Pricing" in a Virtual Reality supermarket!

"True Pricing" takes into account how sustainable products are. This means some products will be more expensive with True Pricing. Experience True Pricing in VR and help us create a more sustainable food system.

You will receive 100 DKK to participate in this study. You will purchase one product in the VR supermarket and will receive this product in real life and the remaining amount of the 100 DKK in your EasyAccount (NemKonto).

You should be able to speak English and you should go shopping for groceries from time to time.

New study on sweetness preference and flavored drinking yoghurt! 🥛🍇🍓

As a participant, you will first have your preference for sweetness in food and drinks measured, and then you will be asked you to evaluate the taste experience of some drinking yoghurts (lactose free).

The study takes 80 minutes, and you will be paid 150 DKK for your participation.

Requirements: Danish CPR-number; Danish EasyAccount (NemKonto); 18-55 years old; must have lived in Denmark for at least five years; must not be allergic to milk and strawberry; must not be vegan; English-speaking.
