In 2011, Aarhus University launched an extended summer university programme based on experience from previous years, and the success continues. Today, AU Summer University consists of a portfolio of courses taught in English at Bachelor's, Master's and PhD level within the fields of Humanities, Theology, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Business and Educat

ional Sciences. Academic focus: All teaching at AU Summer University is based on current research and has a strong international perspective. The close link between research and education ensures the quality and depth of the courses. Lecturers are partly academic staff from Aarhus University and partly international guest lecturers. Services: Along with the academic programme, we offer accommodation service, visa service and a small social programme.

Today is the last day of term 2, and thereby the end of Summer University 2025. Luckily we still have one final event - The End of Term Party at 💃🕺🪩🎊 So let us make tonight memorable 🫶

Yesterday we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere at The Dome followed by some delicious food from Aarhus Street Food🥘🫶

This weekend has been amazing, so thanks to all who participated🤩

We have been visiting .dk for an incredible beer tasting🍻, went bowling for a fun Saturday evening🎳, and had a slow Sunday where we went for a walk to the infinite bridge and got some new friends in the Deer park🐗🦌🌳

We are now entering the final week of Summer University 2025, but we still have a few events ahead of us🥰 So don’t forget to join us for the last events🌞🫶

Yesterday we had a bonfire on the beach with the lovely view of the sea and Aarhus city🔥🌊

A lot of people showed up and we had a really good time swimming, roasting marshmallows, and playing ultimate🥏🏊‍♀️

We are looking forward to seeing you for the weekend’s events🤩

Yesterday we visited the Occupational Museum🪖 It was a very enriching experience, to see, read about, and hear how the occupation influenced Aarhus and its inhabitants. We had some good talks about Second World War in general and how the history is told differently in our respective home countries⚖️ Thank you for participating, and thank you to for having us!

Yesterday we went canoeing at 🛶

The level of canoeing was a mix of both new beginners, intermediate, and experts! It was a perfect mix and it seemed to us that in the end everyone learned how to canoe😎

Unexpectedly it also started raining, however, even though we got a little wet it somehow made the atmosphere just a bit more special🌦️
