Here’s an advanced case competition for the top-tier students striving to advance in the intersection of data, machine learning, and forecasting in a realistic energy trading context.

At the InCommodities Case Crunch 2026 participants will build and train models, make decisions under uncertainty, manage risk, and turn data into a competitive advantage – while competing against strong peers. And win awesome prizes (per person), of course.

Want to step into the shoes of a Quantitative Trader and build models and algorithms to forecast electricity prices - with a chance to win 50,000 DKK for your team?
This February, Nitor Energy is hosting a Quantitative Trading Case Competition, where you and your team will spend 4 days working on a real-world challenge inspired by the tools we use in energy trading.

The competition concludes with a grand finale for the best eight teams at Nitor’s HQ in Aarhus, where the top 3 teams will be announced and awarded exciting prizes. All travel expenses from finalists travelling within Denmark are covered.
