The IEEE Student Branch at Aalborg University (AAU) was established in September 2005. Student at Aalborg University who also are members of IEEE automatically becomes members of the IEEE student branch. Aalborg University IEEE Student Branch organizes different activities for local and international engineering students. Between these events are conferences, technical and practical lectures from
invited speakers, workshops, visits to industry and social events. The vision for the IEEE Student Branch at Aalborg University is to act as a platform for engineering students at AAU to help them gain insight into industry and academia in the field of electrical and electronic engineering.
