The IBC has been globally active within teaching, research and collaboration with business for nearly 30 years. It aims to train future executives through the internationally recognised Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and to contribute to knowledge creation through research and academic dialogue between the centre and its broader environment. TEACHING ACTIVITIES
The Centre actively contributes
to the teaching activities of four international programmes offered by the Department of Business and Management. These include two undergraduate level programmes (a one year three semester top-up BSc and a full BSc in Economics and Business Administration) and two graduate level programmes (an MSc in International Business Economics and an MSc in International Marketing). IBC professors and PhD students from different parts of the world continuously enhance the student experience and add to the international character of the studies. NUMBER 1 IN DIVERSITY
The modules taught are approached from a truly international perspective that characterises the Centre’s entire atmosphere. Students come from about 30 different countries creating a very special environment where cultures interact and where people learn from each other on an academic as well as a personal level. The composition of the academic staff is as diverse as the students themselves, providing a unique inter-cultural dialogue. Both professors and PhD students hail from a range of different countries such as China, Ghana, the USA, Romania, Bulgaria, Denmark and others. The working language at the IBC is therefore English.
