Chris Olson: English Trainer

Chris Olson “Chris is a highly energetic teacher using a non-traditional and direct approach to teaching.”

Chris Olson is from Cincinnati, Ohio.

He comes from a background of marketing and communication. After his studies at The Ohio State University, where he earned his bachelors degree, he began his work as both a trainer and marketing specialist. After several years as a trainer, Chris discovered a passion for both teaching and traveling. It was during this time he began his studies to become an English trainer. Upon the completion of his studies, he moved to Germany and began teaching English. His English courses vary from the A1-C1 level and he has taught a wide range of specialized classes including English for IT, Meetings, Marketing, Telephoning, and more. He is a highly energetic teacher using a non-traditional and direct approach to teaching. He doesn’t just simply use a book and assign homework. He takes a direct approach blending conversation, writing, walking tours, and even games! In his free time, Chris enjoys exercising, learning German, meeting new people, and exploring Europe. He doesn’t sit still well - he has a constant desire to try new things and take on new challenges! This attitude is expressed in his classes through challenging activities and a constant desire to help his students achieve their goals!

We often say that a smile or a small act of kindness can brighten someone’s day. I always try to brighten the day for others by smiling or doing small nice things for others. Alternatively, a good joke or a cute picture can brighten someone’s day. For me, I love funny cat pictures and videos! (image source: http://www.roflcats.com)
