Aftab Commercial & Cultural Complex, Arak, Iran.
Designed by A.P.Pars Architects under Farhad Mirzaie .mirzaie , this project brings retail and cultural functions together in the heart of Arak, shaping a contemporary urban landmark rooted in everyday civic life. The complex is described as a response to the city’s evolving identity, creating a shared destination for commerce, gathering, and cultural exchange.

What stands out most is the façade: a sculptural composition of deep arches, carved voids, and flowing corner geometries, wrapped in a finely textured brick skin. The turquoise-toned recessed surfaces add contrast and depth, giving the building a strong dialogue between Iranian architectural memory and a more contemporary formal language.
