Just had the best sailing days I have had for a long time. Autumn Trophy in Bandol delivered as always. We had sun and wind and waves and great food and w**e shared with old and new friends. Occasionally I even managed to remember how to get around the track in reasonable shape.
Well done to Turtle Sails jockey Tim Petetin who managed a really excellent 3rd Place.
Bandol really is the best place to go at the end of the season and anyone who is not thinking of going there in 2028 for the worlds should reconsider their life choices.
Thanks for the great company David Meehan, Mark Jackson, Dennis Dixon and of course Robert Deaves. Also to all the other sailors and club officials and helpers who made it all happen.

Just finished the OK Dinghy European Championship in Bruinisse Netherlands. It was a nice event with a lot of good friends from all over the world. The Turtle Team was well represented with Thomas Hansson-Mild taking a well deserved 3rd place using his HM 1 sail. Actually the Masters podium was complete with Mark Jackson and Greg Wilcox also using the HM 1 model.
A few of us lucky ones are now in Bandol enjoying some much nicer weather for the Autumn Trophy.

Internationale Deutsche Meisterschaft OK Jolle 26 auf dem Ratzeburger See: "wir können auch naß"! Trotz des Wetters eine schöne Veranstaltung dank der extremst gastfreundschaftlichen Versorgung durch die beiden ausrichtenden Vereine SCHansa und LSV💪.
Bester TurtleSailor wurde ein herausragender Thomas Glas auf Platz 4! SAUBER!
Unser Segelmacher Greg Wilcox segelt souverän durch Sturm und Dreher auf den 12. Platz von 73 mutigen Startern aus 5 Nationen und Juliane Sails erkämpft sich einen unglaublichen 24. Platz und die Champangerschüssel zur Ehrung der besten Frau Deutschlands (in der OK Klasse 😉).

Bei der Brandenburger Landesmeisterschaft der Europes während der Schwielochseepokalregatta ersegelten die TurtleSailors Marc Werner und Juliane Sails die Plätze 2 und 3 nach 5 Wettfahrten bei herausfordernden Bedingungen und viel Sonne. Die Veranstaltung vom SC Schwielochsee
gehört schon lange zu den besten des Landes - herzlichen Dank und nächstes Jahr gern wieder!
