What happens when movement becomes a way of thinking, creating, and connecting?

The Dancing Body: Holding Forms, Moving Function invites participants into an interactive space where bodies, movement, and responsive structures come together. Through shared exploration, gentle movement practices, and collective experimentation, participants will discover new ways of sensing space, collaboration, and creativity.

No previous movement experience needed — all bodies and physicalities are welcome.

How can cities stay cool in a warming world?

Urban Heat Action: Designing Cool Cities explores the relationship between climate, architecture, and urban life. Through lectures, site visits, and hands-on GIS training, you’ll investigate urban heat islands and develop strategies for more resilient cities.

Work with real case studies, map heat patterns, and create climate-sensitive design proposals that respond to social, cultural, and environmental contexts.
Rethink the future of urban living.

What if everyday objects had stories to tell?

In The Secret Life of Objects, you’ll explore how ordinary things can hold memory, identity, and meaning. Through hands-on research, archive visits, and creative practice, you’ll turn overlooked objects into powerful storytelling tools.

From installations to digital narratives, you’ll build your own project and present it in a collective “alternative museum” at the Bauhaus Summer School Open Studios.
