Folienchaos und Vortragende, die ihre Präsentationen zum ersten Mal sehen? Was im Job stressig sein kann, verwandelt sich hier – bei Getränken, Essen und netter Gesellschaft – in einen unvergesslichen Spaß!

Kommt vorbei und erlebt, wie tapfere Speaker spontan wilde Inhalte präsentieren, völlig unerwartete Themen meistern und das Publikum zum Lachen bringen!

🤔 Muss ich auf die Bühne?
Nein, überhaupt nicht! Du kannst gerne. Aber wir haben auch so genügend Leute, um den Abend zu füllen. Und wenn du spontan trotzdem Lust hast, kannst du natürlich auch sehr gerne.

🎉 What an incredible first session of Toastmasters! We had a full house! 🎉

We were treated to two speeches—one prepared on the topic of Flexibility & Intelligence and the other completely impromptu, inspired by the first, expanding on Flexibility & Balance. It was amazing to see how ideas flowed and built upon each other throughout the evening!

We’re thrilled with how the event unfolded and can't wait for many more exciting sessions like this one!

The first round of this year’s Club Officer Training took place in Munich.

70 people signed on and even more came. One of the organizers was Daniel from our club, who also became our Area Director.

Marc and Jens from the officer team took part in the training. Next week, Hamid and Poonam are also going to take part in the online COTs.

Educating and professionalizing its members is a big part of Toastmasters philosophy. The trainings are a great opportunity to learn more and to serve our members better. They also provide us with the chance to meet members from other clubs to network, find best practices and, most of all, to have fun with interesting and inspiring people from all over the world.

We were thrilled to welcome Kyle Murtagh to our recent Toastmasters meeting! Kyle is a European champion speaker and he created a video explaining how to effectively answer table topics based on his experience winning a District final.

Nadja and Hannah say hello! 👋

Nadja Frenzel, our new and enthusiastic Toastmaster, along with her friend Hannah, founder of the Aachen Club and member of the Toastmasters Club Redefluss Bonn, made a spontaneous visit to the district conference in Duisburg. They enjoyed a variety of workshops and national competitions and were inspired by speeches from Dr. Jocelyn B. Tyson, the 2023 World Champion of Public Speaking®, and Kyle P. Bullus, a CEO Coach and Business Communication Trainer.

[Our club visited the Division D Conference "Find Your Why"]

What an interesting weekend!😀Our club members Hamid, Jens, Caro, Joanna and Daniel visited Augsburg and participated in a public speaking competition.

Big congratulations to our club president Daniel Thomann, who won the bronze in the Table Topics category. 👏👏👏

The event was an amazing experience, full of well-organized activities and networking opportunities. As is usual with Toastmasters, there were lots of fascinating people and we made valuable connections.

We had a visitor! 😍

Our last Toastmasters meeting, we were treated to a truly inspiring and touching speech by Kyle Murtagh, who showcased exactly what a well-prepared speech looks like. He is a public speaking coach, European champion speaker, and the author of the book “The 5 Pillars of Effective Public Speaking”. His speech was a great example for all aspiring Toastmasters, reminding us of the importance of practice and dedication.

All of you who want to hear his speech again and support him, can join Munich Speech Festival 2024, 23rd of March at 09:00-18:00 Kulturzentrum LUISE. Everyone is welcome and there is so much to discover from workshops, good speech strategies and, as always, interesting people to network with.

This weekend, our President participated in Area D3 & D5 Contests in München in two categories, Table Topics Contest and International Speech Contest.

Congratulations to Daniel Thomann on his very well-performed speech and rewards.🎉🏆

Last meeting, we had a full house of guests and a great energy. 😍

We had three very interesting speeches last time.
🎤Vanesa spoke about “How can dance improve your communication style”,
🎤Hamid chose to speak about “The virtue of objective thinking”, and
🎤Jens had a compelling speech about “Combining democratic and coaching leadership".

🎤Sharon as a Toastmaster of the evening did a great job as always, and
🎤Caroline delighted us with Carnival Table topics.

We can’t wait for today's meeting!
