We at RASt, in collaboration with our fellow students and members of "Referat für Antirassismus & Antifaschismus", Südachse, and Kulturgraben would like to invite you to Open Mic & Hangout for International and Migrant Students! 🫶🫶

Register if you'd like to put up a little performance for everyone to enjoy!

It could be a story or text, or anything you'd like to share, or a poem you'd like to recite, or anything else you believe is important to you and just need the safe space to express yourself. However, we would request you to keep it apolitical 😌

P.S. Registration is possible on the QR code, although not absolutely necessary, if you would just like to join and sip on some delicious coffee and other drinks as you meet new people!

Die Yalda Night ist eine alte persische Tradition, die in der längsten Nacht des Jahres gefeiert wird und Hoffnung und Wärme symbolisiert.

Familien und Freunde kommen zusammen, um gemeinsam zu essen, Geschichten zu erzählen und Gedichte vorzutragen, und verwandeln so die dunkelste Nacht in eine Nacht voller Freude. Es werden Früchte und Nüsse gegessen, wobei Granatäpfel und Wassermelonen eine besondere Bedeutung haben: Ihre rote Farbe symbolisiert die purpurroten Farbtöne der Morgendämmerung und das Leuchten des Lebens.
