What is Christmas is Germany like? And how does the average family typically celebrate? Even though each family is unique, you can choose to spend Christmas with a local family in or near Tübingen and find out what their special traditions are.

How to participate: write us a dm with your full name, nationality and phone number. Important: this program is only for university students; for the safety of program participants only students who are fully vaccinated or recovered and officially tested in Tübingen on Dec. 24 are allowed to participate.

Christmas is right around the corner, before we know it it will be December 24! If you are an international student staying in Tübingen during the holidays, you don't have any plans for Christmas and you want to spend time with a German family and get to know the culture a bit better, then sign up per dm.

Our families are looking forward to having you as guests at their homes on Dec. 24. This family has participated in the program before and is excited to celebrate this year - maybe even with you!

Rent A German Family is a program for international students in Tübingen to get to know German culture by spending time with German families. We are having a Christmas Eve special and would like to invite interested students to register at [email protected] or via dm over Instagram () by Dec. 23. Please include the following information when you register: full name, nationality and telephone number. Important: Only students who are fully vaccinated or recovered and bring an official negative rapid antigen test result with on Dec. 24 are allowed to participate.

What to expect: spending time with a family in their home, Christmas dinner, presents and maybe even a walk.

You don't know where to celebrate Christmas?

If you're in Tübingen and/or can't afford to fly home, you are very
welcome to spend Christmas dinner in one of our families' comfy home!
Also, there will be a Christmas church service in TOS (www.tos-tuebingen.de) on Dec 24th at 2:30pm. Even a shuttle service
from the Infopoint is being provided (be there at 2:00pm).
