Hilti BJJ München

Dear HILTI BJJ Munich Friends,

our team has been part of the KS-Gym family during the past years. This era is about to end as the KS-Gym will close by end of the year.
On yesterdays trainings session we celebrated the final and last scheduled training. Whilst our silverback Stephan rolled each and every sparring session the whole team came together to celebrate the last roll.
It was also the time to say thank you. Thank you to Stephan, for giving the HILTI BJJ Munich team such a great home, as well as to Mika for forming and leading such a great bunch of BJJ enthusiasts. The whole team organised a brand new Gi for Stephan signed by all its members which was given as a farewell present. As Mika passed his second exam within his medical studies the BJJ team became a part of his academical path. Therefore, he was announced as the BJJ Doc and got a HILTI BJJ / KS-Gym branded stethoscope.

The team is very grateful for the time we had, but it is time to move on. The major part of this great posse will find a new home at our friends over at Pound4Pound Munich, under the leadership of Sergio Canudo Zimmermann.

Am gestrigen Montag, 27.03.2017, hatte das KS-Gym / HILTI BJJ München Team das große Vergnügen den Roger Gracie Blackbelt OLI GEDDES zu einem Seminar im Haus zu haben.

Rund 25 Teilnehmer folgten der Einladung zu einem hochkarätigem NoGi Footlock Seminar.
Oli führte in 2,5h von den Basics des Footlock, bis hin zu den anspruchsvolleren Varianten sehr verständlich und methodisch durch das Seminar, sodass jeder Teilnehmer sicherlich eine Menge frischen Input mitnehmen konnte.

Stephan, Mika, Karate und Marc werden in Rom wieder auf Oli treffen, wo er selbst am Wettkampf teilnehmen, und als Referee tätig sein wird. Wir wünschen unseren Kämpfern und Oli viel Erfolg!

Oli ist uns ein gern gesehener Gast, und wir hoffen ihn bald wieder bei uns begrüßen zu können.

On Monday, March 27, 2017, the KS-Gym / HILTI BJJ Munich team had the great pleasure of having Roger Gracie Blackbelt OLI GEDDES at a seminar in the house.

About 25 participants followed the invitation to a high-caliber NoGi Footlock seminar.
Oli led the basics of the Footlock in 2.5 hours, up to the more sophisticated variants, very understandably and methodically through the seminar, so that each participant could certainly take a lot of fresh input.

Stephan, Mika, Karate and Marc will meet again Oli in Rome, where he will take part in the competition, and will act as a referee. We wish our fighters and Oli a lot of success!

Coach Selman Özcan and 4 of his fighters have not let themselves be taken after the exhausting tournamen to once again roll with us. BJJ is one big community!

***CAMP NEWS***
From the 5th to the 8th of January, the annual BJJ Globetrotter Winter Camp took place in Wagrain, Austria. Around 80 participants joined the camp, almost from around the globe. From 17yrs. old Iceland Guy to 72 yrs. Bluebelt from Austrialia, the variety of skills, technics and personalties was huge.
Representing HILTI BJJ MUNICH, Rainer joined the camp. During the four days many technics from different positions where taught. The rolling and the general behavior has been very respectful and generated a family like atmosphere.
