This is just an example of what a 2 to 3 hours work cycle could look like from around 2 years. It will be different every day and for every child!

Remember children may choose to repeat the same activity several times and may therefore only use one or two of these activities the entire morning & that is absolutely fine! Maria Montessori said it best: “Follow the child…”

This video is just to give you an example of the kind of activities you could set up, whilst trying to cover all areas of learning, in preparation for school, at home or in a child care setting.

Before looking at activities themselves, we have to start with the preparation of the environment.

Seasons are always covered and added to each year, (for each age group 0-6) but I am also continuously adding new set ups for all areas of learning!
